PRIVACY DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

L.C.E. Federal Credit Union has implemented a privacy policy to protect the nonpublic personal information of its members, former members, and consumers that are provided or apply for services from the Credit Union and to maintain the confidentiality of the disclosure of information by the Credit Union with third parties where permitted by law.  The Credit Union is providing this notice pursuant to federal law and regulation and to educate members and consumers as to their privacy rights under law.  This disclosure outlines the privacy policies and practices of L.C.E. Federal Credit Union.

THE INFORMATIOJN THAT WE COLLECT
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms
  • Information about your transaction with us
  • Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties
  • Information from a consumer reporting agency.

We are committed to providing you with competitive products and services designed to meet your financial needs, which necessitates that we share information about you to complete your transactions and to provide you with certain financial opportunities. In order to do so, we have entered into agreements with other companies that provide either services to us or additional financial products for you to consider. Each of these companies have been approved by the credit union’s board of directors.

THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We will not disclose your nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law.

We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about former members, except as permitted by law.

AUTHORIZED SHARING – JOINT MARKETING
We may disclose the following information to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements”

  • Nonpublic personal information we receive from you on an application or other forms, such as
  • Name
  • Address
  • Social Security number
  • Nonpublic personal information about your transactions with us, such as
  • Types of accounts

Federal law allows us to disclose the information listed about with other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.  We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted or required by law.

L.C.E. Federal Credit Union respects your privacy. Through our Web site, we strive to provide valuable information to you about how we may serve you, and whether you are a valued existing customer or someone shopping for new credit union services, we hope our site answers your questions about our products, services, locations and hours.

Our Web site does not require you to disclose any personally identifying information. If, however, you choose to contact us via e-mail, please keep in mind that your e-mail address, and any other information your e-mail header reveals about you, such as your name or organization, will be disclosed to us in the e-mail information only for the specific purpose of responding to your comments or questions. Your e-mail address will not be sold nor will it be shared with others outside the credit union unless we are compelled to do so by law.
